Saxon: esce il video di Pirates of the Airwaves e annunciano il tour Hell, Fire and Steel

SAXON: ARRIVA IL VIDEO DI PIRATES OF THE AIRWAVES

I Saxon pubblicano il video di “Pirates Of The Airwaves”, tratto da Hell, Fire And Damnation il loro 24esimo album da studio acclamato dalla critica e dai fans ora disponibile attraverso Silver Lining Music.

La band è inoltre lieti di annunciare che i Grand Slam si uniranno a loro insieme ai già annunciati Girlschool nel prossimo tour europeo della band Hell, Fire and Steel.

CHI SONO I GRAND SLAM

I Grand Slam nascono nel 1984 grazie alla leggenda del rock irlandese Phil Lynott e dal chitarrista Laurence Archer. Dopo essere stata costretti a sciogliersi nel 1986, la band è ora tornata con un nuovo album, Wheel of Fortune, una serie di pezzi hard rock che risuonano di un’energia chiara e vibrante. La band è tornata con fermezza ed è pronta ad affermarsi sui palchi di tutto il mondo con il loro sound che risveglierà di certo l’interesse di tutti quelli che amano alla follia il rock classico e che non sapevano cosa si stavano perdendo senza averli ascoltati.

Nel frattempo i biglietti per l’Hell, Fire and Steel tour stanno andando a ruba. Gli show della band a Stoccolma e Huskvarna  sono già SOLD OUT e via via si stanno esaurendo i biglietti anche per altre date.

Il tour europeo di Hell, Fire and Steel non vedrà soltanto la band eseguire brani tratti dal loro nuovo album Hell, Fire and Damnation che è già nella top 20,. I Saxon infatti porteranno dal vivo anche i pezzi del loro secondo album,il classico Wheels of Steel (pubblicato 45 anni fa,il prossimo anno) e proporrà diversi tra i pezzi preferiti dai fans e ai grandi successi di tutta la loro carriera.

IL CLASSICO WHEELS OF STEEL

Wheels of Steel, è stato definito dalla stampa come uno di quegli album classici che ogni fan del metal dovrebbe possedere. Ricco di canzoni influenti e riff pesanti,partendo da quello di apertura di “Motorcycle Man”. Wheels of Steel scuote l’ascoltatore dall’inizio alla fine. Dal contagioso e probabilmente  più famoso riff del singolo di successo “747 (Strangers in the Night)” fino a quello dell’infaticabile, essenziale e scoppiettante della title track “Wheels of Steel”. HELL FIRE AND DAMNTATION: L’ALBUM

HELL FIRE AND DAMNTATION vede i Saxon indagare in tutte le aree della storia e del mistero in dieci  pezzi decisi e potenti. Biff offre al pubblico la sua erformance più godibile e ricca degli ultimi anni, Nigel Glockler e Nibbs Carter rispettivamente alla batteria e al basso governano il ritmo in modo potente e altisonante e le chitarre di Doug Scarratt e Brian Tatler sono fresche e focose, un perfetto complemento l’una con l’altra, portando un energia e una passione che manderanno in tilt i fans.

Saxon release the video for “Pirates Of The Airwaves”, from their critically-acclaimed 24^th studio album, Hell, Fire And Damnation– out now via Silver Lining Music. 
 
The band is also pleased to announce that Grand Slam will be joining them alongside the already announced Girlschool on the band’s upcoming Hell, Fire and Steel European tour.

Grand Slam were originally formed in 1984 by Irish rock legend Phil Lynott and guitarist Laurence Archer. After being forced to break up in 1986 the band have now returned with a new album, Wheel of Fortune, a top-drawer of hard rocking songs which resonate with a clear vibrant energy. HELL FIRE AND DAMNTATION: L’ALBUM

 
HELL FIRE AND DAMNTATION is an album which sees Saxon investigate all areas of history and mystery amidst ten of their most confident and thunderously powerful songs yet. Biff delivers his richest vocals in years, Nigel Glockler and Nibbs Carter on drums and bass respectively lay down the rhythmic law with bombastic power, and the guitars of Doug Scarratt and Brian Tatler are fresh and fiery, a perfect complement to each other, carrying an overall energy and fury which will have fans salivating. Musically, Saxon bring it all to the table. There’s a furious tribute to actual heavy metal in the denim & leather coated super-sprint “Fire and Steel”, a wonderful nod to the NWOBHM’s birth in the electric mid-pace “Pirates of the Airwaves”, but maybe the true treasure amidst the jewels is “There’s Something in Roswell”, with the sort of expansive groove and embrace which deserves arenas.
