House of Protection: lanciano il loro nuovo video “Fire” e annunciano l’uscita dell’EP Outrun You All”

Gli House of Protection hanno lanciato il loro nuovo videoclip per “Fire”, il secondo singolo estratto dal prossimo EP Outrun You All. L’uscita è prevista per il 23 maggio tramite Red Bull Records. È stato diretto da Aric Improta e Kevin Garcia, membri della band.
La band commenta: “L’obiettivo con ‘Fire’ era scrivere qualcosa con quanta più energia contagiosa possibile. Una canzone che potesse evocare tanto il ballo quanto il pogo. È un equilibrio difficile da realizzare. Questa è stata l’unica nuova canzone che abbiamo suonato in tour prima della sua uscita ed è già diventata la nostra preferita da suonare dal vivo”.

Omens e Poppy di fronte ad oltre 25.000 nuovi fan

Poco dopo, sono apparsi nel singolo degli Architects, “Brain Dead”. Dal loro album #1 UK Rock & Metal, The Sky, The Earth, & All Between, con un video adrenalinico allegato. Successivamente, si riuniranno con Poppy ad aprile nel suo tour negli Stati Uniti. Quindi con gli Architects a ottobre durante il loro tour UE/UK. Inseriranno una serie di importanti spettacoli in festival tra cui Download e Reading e Leeds a giugno.

House of Protection: quasi un milione di ascoltatori in rete

Ricercati da alcuni dei collaboratori più influenti della scena, gli House of Protection non sono diventati un tour de force così silenziosamente. In meno di un anno, sono saliti alle stelle. Fino a quasi 1 milione di ascoltatori mensili su Spotify dove si sono guadagnati un posto nella lista competitiva “2025 Artists to Watch” della piattaforma. Il loro EP di debutto che abbraccia tutti i generi, GALORE, ha ottenuto il plauso della critica. Comprese riviste specializzate del calibro di The Guardian, Kerrang!, Revolver e altri. GALORE, l’EP: del debutto di House of Protection

Dopo aver pubblicato il loro EP di debutto GALORE senza regole e senza aspettative, gli House of Protection mettono in gioco la loro pelle con l’attesissimo Outrun You All. Letteralmente perché il titolo è tratto da uno dei tanti tatuaggi di Harrison, un omaggio lirico al classico del 2004 dei Converge “Black Cloud”. Outrun You All è un’affermazione autonoma e audace, nonché un pezzo di accompagnamento “notturno” per GALORE. Il completamento di un’era di ispirazione e creatività sfrenate. O, ciò che il secondo disco dei Smashing Pumpkins Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness è stato per il primo. I momenti bui sono più bui, i momenti belli sono più belli, i rischi sono più rischiosi.

La sicurezza artistica della band

Il denominatore comune di tutto questo è una guadagnata sicurezza artistica nata dall’accoglienza entusiasta di GALORE. Sebbene non sia stata una sorpresa che gli House of Protection siano stati accolti calorosamente dai fan delle precedenti band di Harrison e Improta. GALORE ha immediatamente e organicamente attirato l’attenzione al di fuori del regno dell’hardcore americano. Outrun You All un disco dal sound energico

Sebbene sia una celebrazione della crescente fiducia degli House of Protection, c’è una commovente vena nel titolo del suo EP che va oltre i loro eroi musicali. Outrun You All è un tributo ai colleghi e agli amici che non hanno potuto unirsi a loro in questo strano ed entusiasmante nuovo percorso. “Abbiamo avuto molte conversazioni su quanto sia difficile vedere persone con del potenziale rinunciare a ciò che stanno facendo”. Ha detto Improta. “Non penso che sarà mai la nostra realtà. Ci confrontiamo ogni giorno con l’entusiasmo reciproco e sappiamo che il meglio deve ancora venire”. In effetti, Outrun You All è il suono di Improta e Harrison nel loro “secondo tempo” e degli House of Protection che stanno appena iniziando.

House of Protection release the new videoclip for the single “Fire”

House of Protection have unleashed their new music video for “Fire”, the second single taken off forthcoming EP Outrun You All, which is due on May 23 via Red Bull Records. It was directed by the band’s own Aric Improta and Kevin Garcia.  

The band comments: “The goal with ‘Fire’ was to write something with as much infectious energy as possible. A song that could invoke as much dancing as it does moshing. It’s a hard balance to pull off. This has been the one new song we’ve played on tour before its release and it’s already become our favorite to jam live.”

Omens and Poppy, performing to over 25,000 new fans

Shortly thereafter, they appeared on Architects’ single, “Brain Dead” off their #1 UK Rock & Metal album, The Sky, The Earth, & All Between, with an adrenaline-inducing video attached. Next, they’ll reunite with both Poppy in April on her US tour, and Architects in October during their EU/UK run, sandwiching a slate of major festival plays in between including Download and Reading and Leeds in June.   Sought-after by some of the most influential collaborators across the scene, House of Protection has not so quietly become a tour de force. In less than a year, they’ve skyrocketed to nearly 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify where they earned a spot on the platform’s competitive “2025 Artists to Watch” roster.

Their genre-spanning debut EP, GALORE, earned critical acclaim from the likes of The Guardian, Kerrang!, Revolver, and more, achieving Luminate chart positions at #14 on Current Hard Rock Albums and #15 on Alternative New Artist Albums. Stephen Harrison and Aric Improta might be out of music entirely if they hadn’t discovered a new obsession in 2023 – their own band. “We couldn’t be at this point in our careers and be in a band that’s not our favorite band,” Improta explains. The debut EP GALORE

After releasing their debut EP GALORE with no rules and no expectations, House of Protection are putting their skin in the game with the highly anticipated Outrun You All. Quite literally, that is – the title is taken from one of Harrison’s many tattoos, a lyrical homage to Converge’s 2004 classic “Black Cloud.” Outrun You All is an autonomous, bold statement as well as a “night time” companion piece to GALORE, a completion to an era of unbridled inspiration and creativity. Or, what the second disc of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness was to its first: the darks are darker, the pretty moments are prettier, the risks are riskier.

The common denominator for all of this is an earned artistic confidence borne from the rapturous reception of GALORE. Though it was hardly a surprise that House of Protection was warmly greeted by fans of Harrison and Improta’s previous bands, GALORE immediately and organically attracted attention outside the realm of American hardcore. Within less than a year, House of Protection received critical raves from NME, The Guardian and Revolver and were named a Spotify Artist to Watch. The success of GALORE granted House of Protection the freedom to not be experts, to chase the new and interesting over the familiar. Outrun You All is filled with moments of House of Protection surprising themselves as much as the listener. “I always appreciate Quentin Tarantino saying, ‘if you’re going to write a good story, you can’t know where it’s going to go,” Improta notes.  

The sound of House of Protection

Though a celebration of House of Protection’s burgeoning confidence, there’s a poignant undercurrent in its EP title that goes beyond a nod to their musical heroes. Outrun You All is as much a tribute to the peers and friends who couldn’t join them on this strange and exciting new path. “We’ve had a lot of conversations about how hard it is to watch people with potential just give up on what they’re doing,” Improta says. “I don’t think that will ever be our reality. We match each other’s enthusiasm every day and we know the best is still yet to come.” Indeed, Outrun You All is the sound of Improta and Harrison catching their second wind and House of Protection just getting started.
