The ANT BAND live al First Final Los Endos event il 23/24 maggio a Eichenzell-Welkers Germania – It./English Version

The ANT BAND, il gruppo tributo ad Anthony Phillips, sarà al centro della scena all’atteso First Final Los Endos Event, che si terrà il 23/24 maggio prossimo in Germania a Eichenzell-Welkers (vicino Fulda). Un’occasione per tutti di reimmergersi nei fasti della musica dei primissimi Genesis con The ANT BAND che eseguirà i suoi primi (e forse ultimi) show live. Il gruppo, infatti, eseguirà integralmente tutti i brani inclusi nella tracklist del loro nuovo album, “From Genesis To Reimagination”, aggiungendo anche qualche sorpresa extra.

Le due serate sono organizzate dal German Genesis Fan Club “it” e probabilmente saranno parte integrante della fan convention finale a Welkers e di sicuro le esibizioni di The ANT BAND, una per serata, rappresentano un pezzo forte di tutta l’entusiasmante kermesse. Inoltre Helmut e Peter di The ANT BAND stanno attualmente lavorando per preparare una vasta mostra che vi condurrà a 360 gradi nel mondo della Genesis con reperti rari ed approfondimenti interessanti vi attendono si vetrine, teche e schermi. 

Insomma, xe per qualche motivo vi trovate in Germania nel weekend, amate i Genesis ed Anthony Phillips, non dovete assolutamente lasciarvi sfuggire l’occasione di partecipare ad un evento tanto immerso quanto originale e stimolante. 

From Genesis to Reimagination è il secondo album da poco uscito di The ANT BAND. Segue il lusinghiero successo del debut album A Light On the Hill. The ANT BAND è un collettivo musicale teutonico fondato nel 2021 da Tom Morgenstern, dedicato alla musica di Anthony Phillips. Il gruppo, infatti, ha debuttato discograficamente nel 2022 con A Light on the Hill, una rivisitazione di 14 pezzi di Anthony Phillips. Al disco, a cui ha partecipato anche Steve Hackett, ha fatto seguito Bonus Bits & Blunders, una Collection aggiuntiva di rarità.

Più di recente è stato poi pubblicato From Genesis To Reimagination, una rivisitazione dell’album di debutto targato 1969 dei Genesis. Da sottolineare che lo stesso Anthony Phillips ha collaborato al progetto della band scrivendo le note di copertina dei loro album e il fatto che i proventi di A Light on the Hill sono andati ai musicisti in difficoltà economica a causa della pandemia da Covid 19. 

Era da tempo che i fans dei Genesis in Germania, e non soltanto, aspettavano questo evento, che arriva nove anni dopo il Silver Jubilee Event. La scorsa convention aveva riscosso grande interesse da parte del pubblico anche perché, proprio come questa volta, non si tratterà semplicemente di ascoltare musica. Ci sarà molto di più con cui intrattenersi piacevolmente al community Centre di Eichenzell-Welkers vicino Fulda. La prima cosa da notare è che il programma, di cui ora vi parleremo più estesamente, non sarà identico per le due serate. Questo significa che chi deciderà di partecipare ad entrambi gli eventi, potrà godere di iniziative nuove e nuovi spinti musicali.

Per tutta la durata dell’evento sarà possibile usufruire di cibo e drinks.

L’evento darà luogo anche ad uno speciale mercatino per collezionisti. Qui potrete trovare o vendere, oggetti, ricordi, dischi e qualsiasi altra “chicca” o ricordo che riguardi l’attività dei Genesis. Se siete interessati a mettere in vendita qualcosa dei vostri preziosi oggetti targati Genesis, affrettatevi a contattare Helmut che si sta interessando di questo che è uno spazio limitato. Da sottolineare che il mercatino Genesis sarà aperto in determinati orari e non durante tutto l’evento. Questo per dare modo a tutto ciò che appartiene al programma di questo evento di poter essere seguito ed apprezzato nel modo giusto. 

Possiamo assicurare che il booklet dell’evento sarà davvero sorprendente, anche se ancora non è stato svelato il contenuto. L’organizzazione ci tiene però a far sapere che soltanto il valore del booklet vale la spesa del biglietto. E’ possibile acquistare i biglietti in anticipo per entrambi i giorni nello stesso momento. I biglietti costano euro 35 al giorno. Chiunque decida di partecipare per entrambe le serate riceverà un voucher di alta qualità laminato con il pass dell’evento insieme al biglietti, che verranno distribuiti il primo giorno dell’evento. Il numero dei biglietti è limitato e una volta che l’evento sarà sold out non sarà più possibile averne altri, quindi non perdete tempo e acquistare il vostro (o i vostri) biglietti!

The ANT BAND, the Anthony Phillips tribute group, will take center stage at the highly anticipated First Final Los Endos event, taking place May 23-24 in Eichenzell-Welkers (near Fulda, Germany). This will be a chance for everyone to relive the glories of early Genesis music, with The ANT BAND performing their first (and perhaps last) live shows. The group will perform all the songs from their new album, “From Genesis To Reimagination,” in their entirety, along with a few extra surprises.

Organized by the German Genesis Fan Club “it” the two evenings will likely be an integral part of the final fan convention in Welkers. The ANT BAND’s performances, one per evening, will certainly be a highlight of this exciting event. Furthermore, Helmut and Peter of The ANT BAND are currently working on a large exhibition that will take you 360 degrees into the world of Genesis, with rare artifacts and interesting insights awaiting you in display cases, showcases, and screens.

In short, if for some reason you find yourself in Germany this weekend, and you love Genesis and Anthony Phillips, you absolutely must not miss the opportunity to participate in an event as immersive as it is original and stimulating.

From Genesis to Reimagination is the recently released second album by The ANT BAND. It follows the successful debut album, A Light On the Hill. The ANT BAND is a German musical collective founded in 2021 by Tom Morgenstern, dedicated to the music of Anthony Phillips. They made its debut in 2022 with A Light on the Hill, a reimagining of 14 songs by Anthony Phillips. The album, which also featured Steve Hackett, was followed by Bonus Bits & Blunders, an additional collection of rarities. More recently, From Genesis To Reimagination, a reimagining of Genesis’s 1969 debut album, was released. It’s worth noting that Anthony Phillips himself collaborated on the band’s project by writing the liner notes for their albums, and that proceeds from A Light on the Hill went to musicians experiencing financial hardship due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Genesis fans in Germany and beyond have long been eagerly awaiting this event, which comes nine years after the Silver Jubilee Event. The last convention attracted great interest from the public, partly because, just like this time, it won’t simply be about listening to music. There will be much more to enjoy at the Eichenzell-Welkers Community Centre near Fulda. The first thing to note is that the program, which we’ll now discuss in more detail, will not be identical for both evenings. This means that those who decide to attend both events will be able to enjoy new initiatives and fresh musical inspiration.

The event will also feature a special collectors’ market. Here you can find or sell items, memorabilia, records, and any other “gems” or mementos related to Genesis. If you’re interested in selling any of your precious Genesis items, please contact Helmut, who is taking care of this limited space. Please note that the Genesis market will be open at certain times and not during the entire event. This is to ensure that everything related to this event can be fully enjoyed.

The exact order of the program items has not yet been determined, but here is the current schedule:

We can assure you that the event booklet will be truly amazing, even though the contents have not yet been revealed. However, the organizers would like to point out that the value of the booklet alone is worth the ticket price. Tickets can be purchased in advance for both days at the same time. Tickets cost €35 per day. Anyone who decides to attend both evenings will receive a high-quality laminated voucher with the event pass along with tickets, which will be distributed on the first day of the event. Tickets are limited, and once the event sells out, there will be no more available, so don’t delay and get your ticket(s)!
